Kelly Chen (traditional Chinese: 陳慧琳; simplified Chinese: 陈慧琳) (born September 13, 1972) is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actress. Chen has won a number of awards and is involved in many philanthropic activities.

Chen was born Vivian Chen Wai Man on September 13, 1972[1] in Hong Kong. She attended Canadian Academy International School in Kobe, Japan, for high school[1] and then Parsons The New School for Design in New York,[1] where she studied graphic art.[2]
Chen began dating Alex Lau (劉建浩) in 1992. The two broke up in 1999, and Lau began dating another woman. After six months, however, Lau sought Chen out and the two resumed their relationship.[3] On October 2, 2008, Chen and Lau were married at the InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel.[4] Chen gave birth to a baby boy, Chace, Lau Sing on July 10, 2009.
